Marianne candy are peppermint covered caramels with a lovely dark chocolate filling. The perfect mix of fresh mint and chocolate sweetness. At first the caramels are hard and crunchy, a minty treat you let melt in your mouth until you reach the creamy chocolate filling.
The caramels are wrapped in red and white coloured wrapping and are packed in a small bag with the same red and white stripes. The centre image shows a picture of the caramel showing its hard-white cover and chocolate filling. The perfect pocket size bag with 44 wrapped caramels, due to the unique design the Marianne is instantly recognisable.
The Marianne candy originated in Finland 1949 and were introduced in the Fazer candy store in the 90s. An all-time favourite that usually comes into the Swedish homes around Christmas, but who says you can’t enjoy it the other 364 days of the year. A trip down memory lane for sure!
