This one originally launched as Lyft Ice Cool in 2018, and is one of the most popular members of the Lyft/Velo family!

General Original Portion: When it comes to the classic, traditional taste of Swedish Snus, it doesn’t get any better. General Snus is the trend-setter for the classic taste of bergamot and tobacco, and delivers an experience that is uniquely Swedish! This one is said to contain elderberry and not elderflower, but keep in mind: both of these things do come from the same tree, so you will notice some similarities. But, if you’re going into this one expecting a clone of Gotlandssnus Green (for those “old school” folks like myself), you won’t find that here. But, more on that when we get into the review!

Years ago, the strongest snus you could get was “Extra Stark”, which usually was around 16-17mg/g of nicotine. This was the standard for high-strength snus for a long time, until a new company called GN Tobacco appeared in Sweden, purchasing the old Snus AB factory and making their own snus under the “Oden’s” brand, an old Gajane label. Recently, they launched two new flavors, which I will describe as colors: Orange and Purple. Orange is a citrusy taste, and Purple is a violet/licorice flavor. Today, we’re checking out the Orange one, or, Havtorn.

Loop Nicotine Pouches are a relatively new line of nicotine pouches made by Another Snus Factory. No, that’s really their name. Hey, it’s original. Loop is said to have an “Instant Rush”, which is due to their "Active Nicotine Technology”. Their products also come in the “PlantCan”, which is a recyclable can Made entirely from waste material from the forest industry. It is 100% plant based. For those like myself who think sustainability is important, this is a pretty neat feature of the Loop Nicotine Pouch family.

Fiedler & Lundgren has released a new flavor in their Lundgren’s series, meet Lundgrens Örtagård or, “herb garden”. The Lundgren’s series is a high quality, premium line of Swedish Snus with unique flavors that are reminiscent of the outdoors, or particular regions across Sweden. This one is named after the flavor, “herb garden”, and is more in line with the Swedish outdoors. This one launched originally in a perforated white portion, but has not come in a slim white portion just yet. But, you never know what could happen!
