VELO Easy Mint Mini - Expert Review

VELO Easy Mint Mini - Expert Review

The Lyft nicotine pouches line launched back in 2018 and still is one of the more high quality lines on the market today. Over the past year, BAT has been rebranding Lyft as Velo, so when you see this product don’t fret! Velo is the same as Lyft, but with a new name. Same product, same high quality, just different name on the can. This one launched just last year in 2021 as Lyft Easy Mint Mini, but is now known as Velo Easy Mint Mini. Again, same product, but different name on the can.

One thing you’ll notice about this one is the can size. It’s small, and very pocket friendly. The aroma of this one is quite nice, and very refreshing. You’ll encounter a present, smooth, sweet aroma of spearmint when you open the can. While most products in the mint category are peppermint, it’s nice to encounter one that is spearmint. I personally prefer spearmint over peppermint, but there just aren’t may of them out there. The portions are the mini size, which is about half the size of a regular slim portion. They’re soft, semi-moist, and comfortable under the lip. I don’t use mini portions myself, so for this review I put two in. But, if you want a smaller sized portion, mini may be what you’re looking for. Under the lip, I encounter a subtle cooling presence with this one, common with most mint products. The flavor of this one is pretty good, and different from other mint products out there. The mint flavor is on the sweeter side, too. The spearmint taste is smooth, mellow, and quite refreshing. In terms of strength, it is a lighter one. With just one, it feels to be lower than the regular strength mark, so I imagine this is one people would use who have lighter nicotine cravings. The flavor hovers around 40-45 minutes in terms of longevity.

Wrap-Up & Recommendation:

If you like Lyft, you’ll enjoy Velo. Again, it’s the same product, but with a new name. If you enjoyed Lyft Easy Mint Mini, you’ll certainly enjoy Velo Easy Mint Mini. This one is very unique when compared to other mint products, and delivers a sweet flavor of spearmint that tastes like nothing else on the market. It is on the sweeter side, for those who crave a sweeter mint flavor experience, this may be what you’re looking for. The mini size is smaller, and more discrete than a regular nicotine pouch, as well.

Snubie’s Opinion:

Honestly, I don’t use mini portions. I find them to be too small. I like a regular sized or slim pouch. However, with this one, you can only get this flavor in the mini portion. Compared to other Lyft/Velo products, I think this is one of their best tasting mint products out there. I like the sweeter spearmint, and find it to be a refreshing change of pace. I can’t use it too much because yes, it is sweeter, but it’s something to reach for from time to time. If you want something that isn’t peppermint, as that seems to be the most common mint flavor, you may want to give this one a go.
