Skruf Super White Slim Fresh #2 - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

When you look at the nicotine pouch world, there are a lot of brands out there. A lot. But for me, I like to look at quality. When I look for a quality pouch, the brands that rise to the top are Velo, Loop, Ace, Zyn, Volt, and Skruf Super White, to name a few. This was one of the earliest products launched in the Skruf Super White brand, and still remains a popular one to this day. Skruf Super White Slim Fresh #2 is at the #2 strength, or regular strength. Compared to others out there, it’s nice to see one that isn’t up there in strength. And of course, this being in their “fresh” range means it’s going to have a taste of mint. Let’s check it out!

Oden’s Original Loose - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

When people think of GN Tobacco, they often think of Oden’s Cold White Dry and Siberia Red. However, GN Tobacco does have a wide Odens range of normal, regular strength products with solid flavors! Oden’s Original is one that stands out to me. This one comes in both original portion, and lös, which we are talking about today. This is a traditional snus, for people who like the traditional, classic taste of bergamot and tobacco. The portion version is good, but today we’re talking about my favorite version, the loose variant!

Lundgren’s Skåne White - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

When the Lundgren’s brand launched several years ago, it showed a lot of promise. It was a new brand when new brands weren’t common, and it offered high quality snus products at a decent price. Over the past several years, the brand has grown in number, and in popularity, to become one of the most popular snus brands. Lundgren’s Skåne is arguably their most popular product. It was one of the first, and now has several variants including White, Slim White, and White Stark. Today, we’re talking about the classic, perforated white portion version: Lundgren’s Skåne White.

VELO Tropic Breeze - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

Back in 2014, a company in Sweden launched Epok. Over the course of several years, Epok evolved into Lyft, which became one of the most popular brands of nicotine pouches in the world. Recent numbers out of Sweden show that last year Lyft was one of the most popular brands on the market, even when put up with sales numbers from the snus category. In this review, we will check out VELOs Velo Tropic Breeze.

One Vit (White Portion) - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

Several years ago, Swedish Match launched a line of snus made in collaboration with UFC fighter Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson. That line included three products: General One White, General One Original, and Göteborgs Rapé One White. A few years later, in 2020, that line was rebranded as “One”. This is the former General One White Portion, now named simply One Vit. Other than the design, another major change came, the portion material. When we move into the review, I’ll talk about that a good bit because it’s very impressive. Now, let’s get to know this product a little better.

Ace Green Lemon - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

With the available nicotine pouch products on the market, there are a handful of them that I consider to be “high quality”: Velo, Zyn, Loop, Skruf Superwhite, and this one, Ace. Ace is a product produced by Ministry of Snus, a new-ish company based out of Denmark. They make Rite Snus, but also produce Ace Superwhite. The Ace line launched in 2019 and has risen to become one of the most popular brands out there. It is highly recognized for their high quality products! In this review, we’re checking out Ace Green Lemon Slim White. If you’ve had Ace Citrus before, it appears as though this is perhaps a replacement for that one.

Skruf Super White Slim Fresh Strong #3 - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

The Skruf Super White line launched back in 2018, and is one that really stands out. In terms of quality, Skruf is one that produces a high quality product, and you can really tell that is true with their Super White line. There are a lot of nicotine pouch products on the market these days, but Skruf’s Super White line is one that stands out amongst the crowd. I put them on par with Lyft/Velo, for example. The line comes with a variety of flavors, and strengths. I’m a big fan of their Cassice, but this one is quite popular amongst mint lovers. Today, we’re checking out the strong version, Skruf Super White Slim Fresh Strong #3, of the Fresh line.

Jakobssons Glögg & Kanel - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

Gotlands Julesnus. Now, known as Jakobsson’s Glögg & Kanel (Glögg & Cinnamon). There’s just some traditions that feel right around the holidays: setting up the Christmas tree, wrapping presents, cooking a big meal, watching Die Hard, and enjoying this snus! If you’re not familiar with Glögg, it’s kind of like a spiced wine. I usually make mine with red wine (like a Cabernet), and add in cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. If I can find it, sometimes I’ll add some star anise. My wife is Norwegian, and I know they sometimes will add aquavit to theirs (or, substitute vodka if you can’t find aquavit). It’s an interesting drink. It’s also one that feels just right when served warm at the holidays! This snus really captures that flavor.

Oden’s Double Mint Extreme - Expert Review

By Chad Jones Aka Snubie 2 years ago No comments

When I first started snus back in 2009, the strongest snus you could get was “Extra Stark”, which usually was around 16-17mg/g of nicotine. This was the top mark for high nicotine snus for many years, until a new company called GN Tobacco appeared in Sweden, purchasing the old Snus AB factory and making their own snus brand. They continued Gajane’s old “Oden’s” brand, but with new flavors. When Oden’s Extreme came onto the market, it increased the ceiling for nicotine strength to 22mg/g. That would continue to rise later on down the road to 43mg/g with their Siberia line. Today, we’re checking out one of their Oden’s products: Oden’s Double Mint Extreme White Dry!
