When you use a loose snus, it is almost always surprising how close you get to the tobacco and how much of a difference it makes flavor-wise. The Oden's Original Loose is a very tobacco centric product and you can tell that much time and thought has gone into manufacturing it. The flavor is that of a rich tobacco taste that has a gentle sweetness along with a spicy note of pepper and a hint of salt. The tobacco has a natural character and although it is rich it does not become "too much".

Some loose snus products are easier to mold into a prilla than others. I would say the finer the grind the harder it will be to handbake. Oden's Original Loose is quite fine ground and it is therefore a good idea to use a tool to help you handbake if you are new at loose snus! For the experienced user it probably isn't a problem.

Cheap and good
Really rich tobacco flavor, with hints of black walnut, leather and a light smokiness. The flavor is quite similar to islay whiskey but without the wiskey flavor. At only $3.29 a can and $26.90 a roll this is a real good deal, and doesnt sacrifice flavor. The prilla also stays together well as the moisture seems to be slightly lower that most loose snus im used to. Super impressed with this one

Nice Loose
The flavor reminds me of the Whiskey snus offering except minus the whiskey. Good flavor. Slightly harder to bake but nice flavor. It is a tad stronger than Grov.

Outstanding loose snus
Great tobacco flavor with a hint of dried fruit like plum flavor. One of my favorites, my "go to" loose. Oden's products are high quality at a great price.

Too Messy Too Moist Too Fine Cut
Too messy, a result of ultra-fine cut and too much moisture. Difficult to pack and when you remove it from your mouth it is all over inside of your mouth. Need to rinse mouth with water after each use. Also, it gets underneath your fingernails making them dirty. Needed to puncture couple of holes in each can, in order to let air in to dry out some. Still to fine cut, makes a mess. I used to be a Copenhagen chewer, and this is much messier. Price is good though.

Too Moist & Too Fine Cut
Way too moist and too fine cut. Messiest loose snus I have ever used. Because it is too moist and too fine cut, hard to achieve a good pack and just a plain messy and hard to use loose snus. I ordered 20 cans and needed to poke small holes in lids of remaining cans to allow this snus to dry some in order to use. Price is good though.

Exceptional Los
Best bang for your buck right here. Definitely a new go to for me. Easily an all day snus. Stays put, flavor is mellow and natural with faint traces of bergamot. Very well rounded.

O-D-E-N Spells "value"
Oden's loose is a wonderful value! Your money gets you 40 grams of smoky, tobacco-forward snus with a little salt. No frills or BS and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, this snus compares quite favorably to Röda Lacket, but with a slightly more coarse grind, This affects neither the flavor nor the manners, as a prilla of Odens is happy to stay in place and taste good for at least a half hour. It doesn't do much else, but for less than four bucks American, that's all I really need. As an aside, the can does not have the gold tone of the picture, more of a yellow-orange, but it looks pretty nice. The label on the lid also has many bubbles. GN cuts corners on the packaging, but not the snus. Also, shoutout to my dad for swapping me two cans of this stuff for two cans of Kaliber Plus (another "value" snus you should totally try because it's actually really, really good).
