Jakobsson's Melon

I added a few cans of this to my recent order; a grab bag of a dozen different brands/flavors to try out. My package arrived smelling of bubble gum, and I didn't have to think long about which snus was the culprit. I was hoping this was the Jakobsson's "white can original" that is no longer in production, but it is not. Very strong bubble gum aroma before even breaking the seal on the can. I can't stress this enough -- it will impart a melon scent onto the other snus cans in your order, and I can smell it at arm's length on my desk. Flavor-wise, you guessed it: immediate melon/bubble gum flavor. Some mention watermelon, some mention cantaloupe, but to me, it's straight bubble gum. This isn't one of those half-measure flavors that make you think "I guess it kinda tastes like what they say..." this is full-blown pink bubble gum snus. If I wasn't so sure I didn't have a wad of bubble gum in my lip, I'd be hard pressed to tell otherwise. After about 20 minutes, it does start to resemble the lightly-fruity "Jakobbson's Discontinued" flavor I remember, maybe leaning more towards Juicy Fruit chewing gum. At 30 minutes, it started running pretty badly, which is the only bad thing I have to say about this snus. Nicotine strength is nice. Little to no burn, but the strength doesn't disappoint. I didn't expect to like a melon and/or bubble gum flavored snus, but I enjoyed this (until it started running.)

My preferred flavor is wintergreen but I bought a can of these on a whim and enjoyed it. Now that my wintergreen is OOS I can enjoy these.

It's a sickly sweet cantaloupe taste at first, but I sat with it for a while and got the rest of the profile. Halfway through the first tin I got to where I could get the full profile. Not my favorite but it's acceptable.

So, before I even opened my first can, this smells very strong. It has a familiar candy-like taste that I can't put my finger on but I like it. I think it's watermelon. I can actually feel the nicotine, unlike the lower strength ones I tried before this and it's perfect. Definitely going to have a spot in my rotation.

I couldn't do it. Wanted to try something new and this was a huge miss for me. Honestly made me feel sick. It's like an artificial mix of watermelon and honeydew melon. If anybody wants a full tin -1 let me know.

I was skeptical of this one. Snus that tastes like watermelon...? It sounded gross to me, being a General White fan. but I got a can to try... I think it's my new favorite, never buying general again haha.

I bought these after thoroughly enjoying the Strong Cola variety from this company. This is even better. The Melon adds a sweeter flavour to the pouch than the cola (the cola is more subtle, this is stronger). It may become my go to pouch. Good nicotine content and pouch integrity is awesome. I am very impressed by the product this far from this manufacturer.

Absolutely love Jakobssons "Melon" flavored snus.. I bought my first can of this particular snus a couple of months ago and almost immediately, reordered several more cans. The melon flavor is delicious and doesn't dissipate as the portion is being used. I have tried many brands and types of portion snus over the last couple of months, just to explore my options and to learn which type (brand) of snus I most enjoy. Jakobssons Melon and Strong Cola have become my "go to' brands/flavors of snus.

Got a very good hybrid watermelon/ cantaloupe flavor with this one. Moisture is perfect. Strength is a little more than usual but not too much for someone used to normal strength.

I originally bought the white portion, and though the white portion has a lot of flavor being a white, I decided to try out the original portion. This original portion is definitely in my rotation of snus now. It has a great melon smell and a better melon taste. Can't wait to try to original portion Strongcola!
