HIT Apelsin - Expert Review

Hit is a line of nicotine pouches that launched in February of 2022. This line is made by GN Tobacco, the makers of popular products such as Oden’s Snus and Siberia Snus. Hit is a line of all white, nicotine pouches that contain nicotine but are completely free from tobacco. The Hit line has other intriguing flavors, but this is one that stands out more than the others. Apelsin, of course, means orange, and orange isn't a very common flavor with oral nicotine products!

When you open the can, the aroma is - you guessed it, orange! It's a tart, natural aroma of orange that greets you. Orange isn't common in snus or nicotine pouches, so I was rather intrigued when I heard about the flavor profile in this one. The pouches are of the slim format, but I find them to be a little shorter than the average nicotine pouch. They're semi-moist, and have a comfortable fit under the lip.

The flavor on this one is quite good. The orange taste is present, and tart. It's not super sweet, either, which I find to be pretty nice. In terms of strength, it is stronger than the regular level, but it doesn't kick your head in or anything. The flavor, on average, tends to hover around for about 40-45 minutes.

With orange not being very common in the world of snus and nicotine pouches, this one definitely stands out. GN Tobacco hit the flavor of orange just right: not too tart, not too sweet, but just right. If you enjoy citrusy flavors, this is one you’ll want to check out. The nicotine strength may sound intimidating on paper, but it doesn’t feel as strong as it sounds. All in all, it’s a well rounded product with a nice, citrusy taste!

I’ve seen a handful of orange products come and go over the years. I was intrigued when I heard about this one and wanted to check it out. GN Tobacco really did it with this one, though. I’ve had the others in the Hit series, and this is probably the best tasting one I’ve had yet. I’m a big fan of orange, so I think people who enjoy that sort of thing are really going to be happy with this one.
