Röda Lacket Loose contains a classic snus taste in a traditional loose powder format. It has a distinct sweetness with hints of dried fruit and licorice, yet a slightly smoky character overall. There’s a nicotine content of 7.5 mg/g, which provides a regular strength, alongside a medium-rich tobacco taste, with minimal burn in the mouth.

As a loose portion option, Röda Lacket comes into direct contact with gums and releases nicotine and flavor faster than portion snus. It has a fine grind and is easy to mold into the shape you want in the mouth, with minimal “mudslide.” One can has a net weight of 42 g.

Röda Lacket Loose was introduced to the Swedish market by Petter Swartz in 1850, and quickly became a national favorite. Its popularity has continued to the present day thanks to the timeless flavor profile and the appeal of going “back to basics” with snus. Cans have a striking golden lid with engravings and a metallic red body, providing a regal feel.

a favorite

Finely ground, soft & moist, and has a fantastic flavor. Lots of dark fruit. Feels identical to Prima Fint but the flavor is better.

Good but..

Very high quality Snus, packs well, great consistent buzz, amazing taste and drip
However it can sometimes get quite messy while in lip so I wouldn’t recommend using it if you have a social gathering or photo shoot or partner you want to kiss

The best classic loose

My mouth waters when I crack a new can and the flavor is unmatched in all the loose snus I've tried. It has a very nice hint of fruit sweetness and a mild tobacco. It's also quite possibly the easiest loose to pinch with only Prima Fint, Skruf Stark, and Islay Whisky coming close.

Best Loose Snus...So Far

I have used Copenhagen Snuff for years.  I am new to snus.  This is the closest I have found to a similar taste.  It is somewhere in the ball bark of Skoal Straight for those used to snuff.  I enjoy it.  And, would buy again.

Absolutely the best

This is the best lös snus, in my opinion. Balanced, rich and wonderful tobacco with hints of raisens and cocoa, much like Sweet Virginia. Such a fine grind, ANYONE can bake with it. All around THE BEST.
