The Wisby Norderport has a unique flavour that is the result of Gotlandssnus incredible snus making skills and may be the best we have ever tasted. As you place a portion under your lip the flavour that hits you is that of rosehip together with a mellow yet delicious tobacco character. Floral flavours are relatively uncommon, but we really do love them!
The portions are white with a dry exterior which gives the bag a much more discreet feel because they are less runny. The flavour and nicotine release is prolonged due to the dry surface, which also means giving you a more even release too. The nicotine strength comes in at 14 mg and feels regular.
Gotlandssnus have produced the Wisby lineup as a tribute to the town of Wisby in Gotland. They do love their origin! The name Norderport derives from the northern gate to Gotland, and the flavours of this lineup are inspired by the native flowers from Gotland. Rose hip is one of them! Interestingly enough, Gotlandssnus seem to be making a few changes to their otherwise purely original portion assortment. The Wisby products are in the white category and perhaps this is something we will see a lot of from now on, who knows?
