Lundgrens Örtagård - Expert Review

Fiedler & Lundgren has released a new flavor in their Lundgren’s series, meet Lundgrens Örtagård or, “herb garden”. The Lundgren’s series is a high quality, premium line of Swedish Snus with unique flavors that are reminiscent of the outdoors, or particular regions across Sweden. This one is named after the flavor, “herb garden”, and is more in line with the Swedish outdoors. This one launched originally in a perforated white portion, but has not come in a slim white portion just yet. But, you never know what could happen!

Lundgrens Örtagård Open Snus canWhen you open the can, you're greeted by a beautiful, outdoorsy smell. If you've had Lundgren's Västkusten before, this one is quite similar to that one. It's floral in nature, along with a light, woodsy tobacco character. The pouches are the perforated type, meaning they have little holes in them for a quicker release of flavor. In the taste, it's more floral than herbal. The name doesn't indicate much what it actually tastes like, as I didn't get as much herbal character as anticipated. It's mostly floral, with a mild base tobacco in the background. There are subtle notes of wood, along with a faint herbal character. The nicotine strength on this one feels about regular, and the flavor lasts up to about the hour mark.

Wrap-Up & Recommendation:

The Lundgren’s series is a line of high quality, flavorful snus products, and this one is no exception. If you’re a lover of the outdoors, this is a snus that can truly connect you to nature. The flavor profile is bright, and floral, but doesn’t stray too far from the tasty tobacco base. This one reminds of Västkusten, so if you’re a fan of that one, you’ll certainly find yourself enjoying this one.

Snubie’s Opinion:

Going into this one, I expected a big, herbal taste. I didn’t get that with this one. It was a lot like Västkusten, and had a big floral character. Despite the fact that it wasn’t what I expected, I found it to be a very enjoyable, flavorful snus. I don’t usually use a lot of the perforated portions, however, if they released this one a slim format that wasn’t perforated I’d probably enjoy it more. But, all in all, not a bad snus at all.
