The Lundgrens Skåne Strong White has unique notes of spruce needle and forest berries together with a light tobacco character in the background. This is a snus with both a touch of earthy flavors as well as strings of sweetness from the berries. A taste of Sweden, really!

The white portion bags are not like the ones you are used to, these are ultra thin and perforated which creates a much quicker release of flavor and nicotine, which really is unique for white products that are usually known for their slow release. But of course, you will still enjoy the perks of a white product, that is, less dripping, less teeth discoloration and a longer release period. In short, the perforation means that there are tiny holes on each snus pouch where flavors can exude – but don’t worry, you will not experience any pieces of tobacco coming out. The bags are designed to prevent that from happening. The nicotine content weighs in at a firm 15 mg/g, making it only slightly stronger than the original version, but enough to give you an extra kick.

Strong Nicotine, Same Great Quality

The Strong/Stark version of my all-time favorite snus. I am a fan of berry centric snuses, and this is one is is the perfect balance of earthy and sweet, perfect for every occasion. The price is fantastic, in my opinion the best value on the snus market. In addition, Lundgren's also has the BEST CAN you can get. The expandable catch lid is a legit innovation and is a massive bonus over traditional catch lids. The bag material is perforated, which took a little to get used to, but it's comfortable and does indeed work as intended. I will note these do get juicy over time, so this is not an endurance snus. The strong version here has a hefty amount of nicotine, so is great for those times when you need a good nicotine hit. A++

production issues with pouches

I love the flavor of this product, it is really good. The downside, there is a lot of loose tobacco outside of the pouches, as one end of them is not sealed properly on many of them, causing the contents to leak out.

A Real Treat

This is a really tasty treat. It has tons of depth and continued to grow on me throughout the first can. So, far my favorite of what Lundgrens has to offer, the strength is spot on, the flavor is true to the Lungren’s line, a light tobacco character with herbal and very mildly floral undertones, and slight saltiness, the real star here is the berries which are a perfect balance of sweet, sour and tart. The flavor is still going strong at an hour and a half at which point the nicotine has run its course and I need to re-up. It is not a snus I would want to chain snus but I can definitely use 4 or so portions a day alternating it with other snus with different flavor profiles, if you enjoy One Röd (red), you’ll love this. It does not have the dark tobacco profile of One Röd but makes up for it with exceptional depth in flavor. Portions are super comfortable and I experience no gum irritation. I would prefer an original portion but make due fine with the white portion if I prefer-moisten it, I wish I had ordered a log rather than two cans. Well worth trying at least once for any snuser..

Initial Reaction

This is a very tasty, unique snus. The berry flavor is very pronounced, mostly tart with just a hint of sweetness. I find it a touch too salty for my preference right off the bat. But, within 15 minutes the saltiness mellows and the balance is nice. There is a floral quality to Lundgren's tobacco products I have tried. This is no exception, although the floral flavor is very much in the background in Skane. The nicotine content is just right for my preference, adequate but not too strong. The taste hangs around for a long time. If I didn't need to refresh with a new portion for nicotine purposes, I am sure the taste would still be going strong hours later. For me, I get about an hour and a half out of these. So, far these are my favorite Lundgrens flavor.

Almost perfect

Love this snus. Great taste, classic Lundgrens flavor. Great nicotine content, not overwhelming. My only gripe is that the pouches are a little too fluffy so they don't sit there as comfortably as smaller pouches.

Long lasting flavor, high quality snus

Love this snus. Has a very rich and bold flavor that lasts for hours and hours, kind of an herbal mix with a slight hint of tobacco flavor. Somewhat salty too, which is a great acidity regulator and feels great in the mouth. While the nicotine content is strong, I wasn't overwhelmed by the buzz. Overall this is a very satisfying snus with a flavor profile that lasts for a long time, I will likely be purchasing this same product again sometime soon.
