General Snus is the king of snus. It is one of the traditional snus brands that goes back to the earliest days of snus. When many think of high quality, premium Swedish Snus, the General brand is one that quickly comes to mind. While there are many portions formats of General, there is only one General Classic Loose. This is a snus for lovers of traditional snus, and for those who enjoy loose snus and want a classy, premium flavor.

Opening the can, you’ll notice the tobacco to moist, and soft to the touch. It is pretty easy to pinch, and handbakes like a dream! The aroma of this one is just beautiful. As someone who really enjoys General, the aroma of this one is top notch. The tobacco aroma is present, and slightly spicy. There is a nice aroma of bergamot, which compliments the base tobacco very well. There’s also a slight hay-like, grassy presence to the aroma.

Under the lip, the tobacco is quite soft, and has a good moisture amount. The flavor comes on very quickly, too. It’s the classic, traditional taste of General Snus. The tobacco base is rich, earthy, and slightly peppery. It is complimented by a taste of bergamot, and a light touch of hay. The flavor lasts a good 40-45 minutes, on average.

In the strength, it can vary. In total, it is 7.5mg/g. So, if you do a 1g prilla, you get about the regular strength delivery. Usually for me, I like to stick to 2g prillas, sometimes 3g. So, the strength could go up to 15mg if I do a 2g prilla. But, I will say the nicotine release and delivery is satisfactory with this one.

There’s only one General Lös. The General Snus family is known for high quality, and the lössnus version is the best way to truly enjoy this high quality flavor. If you’re a fan of traditional snus, and you haven’t had this one, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

I love this snus. General is my #1, and I use it all day every day. So, I may be a bit biased. However, objectively speaking, this is a very high quality, impressive snus. It’s one I suggest anyone try out if they’ve never had it before. It doesn’t get any better than the king of snus!
