Göteborgs Rapé snus

Göteborgs Rapé was launched as early as in 1917 and has been a given product in every vendor’s Swedish snus selection since. The name, Rapé, stems from French and means ”grated” in English. It is an old, 18th century concept, hailing from when tobacco consumers would grate their tobacco with a grater to achieve the perfect texture.

The taste of Göteborgs Rapé is often described as fresh and flowery, with streaks of juniper berries, herbs, and some sweetness. This Swedish snus can be savored loose or portioned, and was one of the very first to offer the now so popular white portion version.

The latest addition to the brand is Göteborgs Rapé No2, with a taste of lingonberries.
